Uniform Policy
At Luminous Oak Academy we value our school uniform as a symbol of belonging to our school community. We hope that pupils feel a sense of pride and belonging to our school.
It is our policy that all pupils wear school uniform when attending school. We understand the differing needs of our pupils and believe that it is extremely important that pupils feel comfortable in school and wear clothes that support their sensory and physical needs, along with their own well-being.
All uniform should be in the colours listed below. It should be plain and not contain logos / branding or any other colours. All uniform items can be purchased from supermarkets, however items with a * are available to be purchased via our school uniform provider Skoolkit with the embroidered logo.
We advise that parents label all items of their child's uniform to enable us to find it should it be mislaid. We work with Name Tags who make tags which can go in the washing machine, tumble drier and are also good for labelling your child's plastic water bottle as they go in the dishwasher too! For the Health and Safety of everyone:
The only jewellery permitted is stud earrings. All jewellery must be removed for PE.
No long false nails.
No hooded tops.
